WestWorld quickly saw the need to provide consulting and training services to in-house graphic departments for such clients as Chubb Life, EduFund, Citigroup as well as regional and local clients. WestWorld LLC continues to offer graphic, web design and web marketing services..

In 1982 WestWorld established ProKeepers as a d/b/a of WestWorld,
to fill the need for high quality professional office cleaning services in the state of New Hampshire. ProKeepers established itself as the premier cleaning service for professional offices, specializing in detailed cleaning of law firms, associations and insurance companies. WestWorld has since sold it's cleaning operations, but continues to find opportunities to leverage its experience in advertising, marketing, training, consulting and cleaning management.

The Developer

In 1992, Claude Berman and Jack Dudley partnered to create software for facility managers. Jack had just finished editing and coauthoring the book, Custodial Staffing Guidelines for Educational Facilities, in which he and his coauthors pioneered a new way of looking at custodial staffing needs. This book, now in its Second Edition, is still available from APPA and we highly recommend it.

Claude developed the first version of the software and it was released in 1993. It allowed facility managers to quantify the impact of staffing changes on cleanliness levels, a first and probably still unique capability in this type of software. Claude’s background is in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in mathematical modeling. This approach led to a very different animal, software-wise, than the programs currently on the market.

Through the years, the software has been refined and improved. Now in its eleventh year, our users report it is powerful, yet easy-to-use.
