Dealing With Vista
This technique also works if you install on a network. The problem is that the stored location of the graphics files is not where expected when the software is installed on a Vista machine.
Under Windows Xp, the software is installed in c:/program files/cms/(several photo folders)
Under Vista, software is installed in c:/programdata/cms/(several photo folders).
To fix the problem, click the Edit Details button at the top of the home page (or File > Edit Details). Then, click the Reset Paths button and browse to the folder where the photo folders are held and click OK. For Vista, this would be c:/programdata/cms/ Note the paths can be set individually for the various types of graphics (equipment, supplies, etc.), but, it's usually best to use the Reset Paths button as this will do the job for the default file structure.
